First turns happen on the north side, the long, gentle half of the mountain, with instructors who teach on the same runs they ski every day. Whether you’re brand new, coming back after twenty years, or just want to ski stronger, there’s a lesson for where you actually are.

Gear up first

No gear? A rental package pairs with any lesson, sized and fitted at the rental shop.

Meet your instructor

Dress warm and give yourself fifteen extra minutes to get fitted and find the meeting spot.

Common Questions

Before you ask

I've never skied. Where do I start?

A group lesson on the north side. Your instructor picks terrain that matches where you are, not where the brochure says you should be. The First Timer’s Guide covers the rest of your first day.

Can my whole crew take a lesson together?

That’s what private lessons are for, your group, your pace, one instructor. Planning something bigger? Lessons are part of every group outing conversation too.

Does my kid need their own gear?

No. Rental packages come in kids’ sizes and pair with any lesson.

I skied years ago. Group or private?

Either works. A group lesson knocks the rust off in good company; a private gets you from cautious to confident in a morning, focused on exactly what you want to fix.
