Snowmobiling
Hundreds of miles of groomed, connected trail meet right at the resort. Park the trailer, unload once, and ride from the front door all weekend.
Sled Country
Hundreds of miles, one basecamp
The groomed trail runs right past the resort, so the riding starts the moment you unload. From there it connects into hundreds of miles of maintained trail kept up by the local clubs, looping through Northwoods, old rail grades, and river crossings. Park the trailer, leave it, and let the sleds do the rest. You won’t run out of trail before you run out of weekend.
Iron County
Wisconsin · 300+ miles groomed
Wisconsin’s snowmobile stronghold. Iron County keeps 300+ miles of trail groomed and connected, including the one that runs right past the resort. The local White Thunder Riders club has looked after this stretch for decades, tying together Hurley, Montreal, and the backcountry in between. Their trail map is the place to start planning a day.

Gogebic County
Michigan · 100+ miles groomed
Just across the range in Michigan’s western UP, Gogebic County adds another hundred-plus miles of well-groomed trail around Ironwood and Bessemer. The system ties right into the trails at the resort, so you can ride straight onto it and keep going. The Gogebic Range Trail Authority keeps it maintained and links out to full UP maps.

Rentals
Rent and ride
No sled? Eagle Powersports has you covered. They rent by the day and deliver right to the resort, so you can show up empty-handed and ride. Reserve ahead on busy weekends.
The Wine Hut
Warm up at The Wine Hut
There’s a stop worth building a ride around. The Wine Hut sits on the shore of Weber Lake, a square-hewn log cabin, the oldest building in Iron County, with a wood stove throwing heat and mulled wine on the counter. Pull the sled up to the door, warm up over chili and cocoa, and let the fire do its work before you head back out. Go in the afternoon; it closes before the day’s done.

Get the group together
Sled clubs, family crews, a whole caravan of trailers: Whitecap makes an easy basecamp for all of it. Park the trailers, sleep on the mountain, and ride from one door all weekend. One team to help sort lodging and logistics.
